Wedding Venues We Regularly Deliver To

Wedding Couple standing around a pool

We are fortunate to work with a wide range of beautiful wedding venues throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and the surrounding regions.

Rather than creating a list of "best" venues, we thought it would be more helpful to share a selection of venues we regularly deliver cakes and desserts to and know well.

Each venue offers something different, from intimate garden celebrations and vineyard weddings through to larger estate-style gatherings.

The venues below are listed alphabetically and are not ranked. These are simply a selection of venues we regularly deliver to and know well through experience.

Every wedding venue offers something different, and the right choice ultimately comes down to the atmosphere, guest experience and overall style that feels most aligned with your day.

Bimbadgen Palmers Lane

Evening wedding reception at Bimbadgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley

Bimbadgen Palmers Lane is a beautiful vineyard venue that combines expansive views with a relaxed, contemporary feel. It is a popular choice for couples looking to embrace the Hunter Valley landscape while still enjoying a refined wedding experience.

As a supplier, one of the things I particularly appreciate about Bimbadgen Palmers Lane is how welcoming, organised and accessible the team is. Communication is always excellent, and whenever I am delivering, the venue is consistently presented beautifully and maintained to an exceptionally high standard.

It is also common to see prospective couples being shown through the venue and reception spaces before guest arrival, allowing them to experience the setting as it would appear on a wedding day. To me, this reflects the care and pride the team takes in both the venue itself and the experience they create for couples.

Circa 1876

Wedding cake displayed on the marble cake table at Circa 1876

Circa 1876 has a completely different feel to many of the larger wedding venues throughout the region. From the moment you arrive, the heritage building, timber details and established gardens create an atmosphere that feels intimate, character-filled and full of old-world charm.

While the reception space has a darker, moodier feel, the garden ceremony area offers a beautiful contrast and feels surprisingly grand. The combination of historic architecture and beautifully maintained grounds creates a setting that suits couples drawn to a more timeless wedding aesthetic.

Inside, the venue features beautiful old flooring and several smaller sitting rooms branching off the main reception space, adding to the overall atmosphere and reinforcing the venue's historic character.

One detail that always stands out to me is the substantial marble-topped cake table, which has become something of a fixture within the reception space. It provides a beautiful focal point for the cake display and feels perfectly suited to the character of the venue.

When delivering to Circa 1876, I often find couples gravitating towards more vintage-inspired cake designs, which feel particularly at home within the venue's historic setting.

Dark Horse Vineyard

Contemporary wedding tablescape cake at Dark Horse Vineyard

Dark Horse Vineyard offers a contemporary wedding setting with beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. The venue combines modern event spaces with on-site accommodation, creating a relaxed and convenient setting for wedding celebrations.

From a supplier perspective, Dark Horse Vineyard has always been easy to communicate with and well organised in the lead-up to wedding days, which helps deliveries and setup run smoothly.

One feature that always catches my attention is the occasional helicopter arrival, which certainly makes for a memorable entrance.

When it comes to cake styling, I often see couples lean towards more contemporary designs at Dark Horse Vineyard. Fresh raspberry cakes and modern finishes seem particularly well suited to the overall aesthetic of the venue.

Enzo Weddings

Enzo Weddings is a venue that stands out to me for the experience it provides, not just for couples, but also for the suppliers working behind the scenes to bring a wedding day together.

From a vendor perspective, the team at Enzo Weddings is consistently welcoming, organised and incredibly easy to work with. Whenever I arrive with a cake delivery, there is almost always someone available to assist, answer questions or help coordinate setup. Their enthusiasm and positive energy create a warm atmosphere that is noticeable from the moment you arrive.

The venue itself is exceptionally well maintained and thoughtfully designed. One feature I particularly like is the dedicated space available for part of the wedding party to relax before the celebrations begin, complete with room to gather, play pool and enjoy time together before the day unfolds.

With a chapel on site, couples also have the reassurance of a beautiful weather-proof ceremony option, allowing the day to run smoothly regardless of conditions.

Of all the venues we regularly deliver to, Enzo Weddings is one that consistently stands out for its organisation, communication and attention to detail.

Greystone Estate

Ornate wedding cake displayed in the reception space at Greystone Estate

Greystone Estate has a modern, purpose-built feel from the moment you arrive. The gated entry, long driveway and accommodation on site all contribute to the sense that the property has been designed around the full wedding experience.

The venue is consistently well presented, with generous spaces and a polished, organised feel. I often notice couples and their wedding parties settled into their own areas before the day begins, which gives the property a calm and relaxed atmosphere in the lead-up to the wedding.

The reception space is generous in size, with sheer white curtains that create soft, beautiful light throughout the room. It is a space that photographs beautifully and suits a more contemporary wedding style.

In terms of styling, I often see couples lean towards more contemporary cake designs at Greystone Estate, particularly clean finishes and soft draping details. That said, the space also lends itself beautifully to vintage-inspired tiered cakes, making it a surprisingly versatile venue when it comes to wedding styling.

Heaven Gardens

Floral wedding tablescape cake at Heaven Gardens

Heaven Gardens is one of those venues that manages to feel both relaxed and elevated at the same time. The open spaces, beautiful gardens and thoughtful layout create a welcoming atmosphere that never feels overly formal, while still feeling beautifully put together for a wedding day.

One of the things I particularly appreciate about Heaven Gardens is the communication and organisation leading up to wedding days. The owner is typically on site, which means there is always someone available who knows exactly what is happening and can assist when needed.

The venue itself is easy to access, with generous parking and plenty of room for guests to spread out and enjoy the surroundings throughout the day. There is a relaxed energy to the property that encourages people to settle in and enjoy the celebration.

The gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for ceremonies and photographs, while the reception space offers plenty of flexibility for styling and entertainment. One detail that always stands out to me is the dedicated space for live music, which feels well integrated into the overall layout and contributes to the atmosphere as the evening unfolds.

The attentive team and beautifully maintained grounds make Heaven Gardens a venue that consistently delivers a warm and enjoyable experience for couples and guests alike.

Irongate Estate

Tuscan-inspired wedding cake at Irongate Estate

Irongate Estate is one of the newer wedding venues in the region and has quickly established a strong identity through its distinctive design and styling. With its Tuscan-inspired architecture, warm tones and beautifully considered spaces, it feels unlike many other venues in the area.

What stands out most to me about Irongate is how cohesive the overall aesthetic feels. Every element of the property appears thoughtfully curated, creating a venue with a clear sense of style and character.

From a supplier perspective, communication has always been excellent, with a dedicated function manager who is approachable, organised and easy to work with throughout the planning process.

As someone who places a lot of importance on the relationship between cake design and venue styling, Irongate is a venue I find particularly inspiring. The aesthetic lends itself beautifully to thoughtfully designed cakes and desserts that feel connected to the overall atmosphere of the day.

Although relatively new to the wedding scene, it is a venue that I can see continuing to grow in popularity as more couples discover its unique character and charm.

Krinklewood Estate

Krinklewood Estate feels unlike almost anywhere else in the Hunter Valley. With its established gardens, winding pathways, European-inspired architecture and abundant greenery, it has a romantic character that immediately stands out.

One of the most recognisable features of the property is the ivy-covered cellar door and surrounding gardens, which create some of the most photographed backdrops in the region. The venue has a relaxed, almost transportive quality that makes it feel as though you've stepped into a European countryside estate rather than a traditional Hunter Valley wedding venue.

From a styling perspective, Krinklewood lends itself beautifully to garden-inspired weddings, intimate celebrations and thoughtfully curated details. The venue naturally complements floral cake designs, fruit-forward styling and romantic tablescapes that feel connected to the surrounding landscape.

The tennis court, gardens and vineyard spaces provide countless opportunities for photography throughout the day, making it a venue that is particularly appealing to couples who place a strong emphasis on atmosphere and aesthetics.

Peppers Creek Barrel Room & Chapel

Bride and groom kissing inside the Peppers Creek chapel beneath a suspended baby's breath installation in the Hunter Valley.

Peppers Creek Barrel Room & Chapel is one of the Hunter Valley's most recognisable wedding venues, combining a beautiful chapel with a warm and character-filled reception space.

The reception venue has a similar old-world charm to Circa 1876, with timber, stone and a moody atmosphere that feels particularly inviting during the cooler months. One of the standout features is the large fireplace, which creates a beautiful focal point and adds to the ambience of winter weddings.

The chapel is equally impressive and can also be hired separately, making it a popular option for couples who have chosen to celebrate elsewhere but still want a dedicated ceremony space. Its timeless design works beautifully with both minimal styling and more elaborate floral installations.

While the venue is well known for larger celebrations, I have also delivered cakes for smaller weddings and intimate elopements here. The combination of the chapel, reception space and surrounding grounds makes it a venue that works beautifully across a range of wedding styles and guest counts.

I've also had the opportunity to create floral installations within the chapel, including a suspended cloud of baby's breath, which highlighted just how beautiful the space can be with even the simplest styling.

Peregrin

"Bride and groom celebrating with a giant wedding tiramisu at Peregrin, Newcastle wedding venue."

Located within the Beach Hotel at Merewether, Peregrin offers a different experience to many of the vineyard and estate venues featured in this guide. For couples travelling from outside the area, its central coastal location makes it an appealing option for guests looking to stay nearby and enjoy everything Newcastle has to offer.

The venue has a warm and refined atmosphere, with coastal views providing a beautiful backdrop without dominating the overall experience. While the ocean is certainly part of the appeal, the venue itself feels more like a stylish restaurant than a traditional wedding venue, which suits couples looking for a celebration that feels modern and relaxed.

From a supplier perspective, the team is always well staffed, easy to communicate with and generally available when deliveries arrive, helping everything run smoothly on the day.

Peregrin is also one of the more versatile venues on this list, hosting not only weddings but christenings, milestone birthdays and other special events throughout the year.

One of my first giant tiramisu weddings was delivered here, and it felt perfectly suited to the venue's European-inspired menu and dining experience. Alongside larger-format desserts, I often see couples gravitate towards contemporary cake designs with refined finishes that complement the overall aesthetic of the space.

Peterson House

Peterson House is one of the more versatile wedding venues in the Hunter Valley, catering for everything from intimate celebrations through to large-scale weddings. It is a venue I have delivered to many times over the years and one that consistently accommodates a wide range of wedding styles.

The venue features a dedicated chapel on site, allowing couples to host both their ceremony and reception in one location. For larger celebrations, the permanent marquee provides a generous reception space that comfortably accommodates significant guest numbers while still feeling connected to the surrounding vineyard setting.

From a supplier perspective, Peterson House is always well staffed, with team members generally available when deliveries arrive and easy to communicate with throughout the day. It is a venue that feels experienced in hosting weddings, which helps everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

One of the things I enjoy most about Peterson House is how adaptable it is from a styling perspective. Over the years, I have delivered everything from contemporary designs and vintage-inspired cakes through to large statement pieces, and each has felt equally at home within the space. It is one of the few venues where almost any wedding style can work beautifully.

Ravella

Bride and groom cutting a modern wedding cake inside Ravella's converted church reception space in Newcastle
Ravella offers something quite different to many wedding venues in the region. Housed within the former 48 Watt Street event space in Newcastle, the venue combines historic church architecture with a contemporary, design-led approach to weddings and events.

The original church has been transformed into the Grand Hall, creating a dramatic reception space with soaring ceilings and plenty of character, while the light-filled atrium provides a weatherproof ceremony option that still feels connected to the outdoors. There is also a separate cocktail room that can accommodate smaller celebrations or be used as an additional ceremony space.

One of the things that stands out most about Ravella is the type of weddings it attracts. Couples who choose Ravella often lean towards a more editorial, fashion-forward aesthetic, with moody colour palettes, dramatic florals and contemporary styling. If your vision includes black and white, burgundy, candlelight, statement florals or an overall less traditional wedding feel, Ravella is a venue that embraces creativity.

The venue is catered by the well-known Alfie's Italian, making it a particularly appealing choice for couples who want exceptional food as part of their wedding experience.

Its Newcastle location also offers fantastic photography opportunities. Rather than vineyards and country landscapes, couples can take advantage of city streets, heritage buildings, local bars and urban backdrops that suit a more modern wedding style.

Behind the scenes, Ravella benefits from an experienced management team with extensive hospitality and wedding industry experience. The venue is collectively owned by local wedding professionals, which is reflected in the thoughtful design of the spaces and the creative weddings regularly hosted there.

From a cake design perspective, Ravella is one of the few venues where I feel almost any of my designs can sit comfortably within the space. Whether it is a dramatic contemporary cake, a vintage-inspired tiered design, a long tablescape cake or something completely unconventional, the venue has the personality and flexibility to carry it beautifully.

Redleaf Wollombi

Redleaf Wollombi is one of the most distinctive wedding venues in the region. Set amongst beautifully landscaped grounds and remarkable European-inspired architecture, it is a venue that feels both intimate and grand at the same time.

One of the things I appreciate most about Redleaf is its flexibility. The property offers multiple reception spaces, allowing celebrations to be tailored to guest numbers, weather conditions and the overall vision for the day. Whether couples are planning a smaller gathering or a larger celebration, the venue provides a range of beautiful settings without losing its sense of character.

The venue consistently attracts couples who place a strong emphasis on design, hospitality and the overall guest experience. It is common for weddings here to be supported by professional planners, resulting in thoughtfully curated celebrations where every detail has been carefully considered.

One of the things I appreciate most about Redleaf is the calibre of weddings the venue attracts. Many celebrations held here are supported by experienced wedding planners and creative teams, which often results in exceptionally well-organised events where every detail has been carefully considered. From a supplier perspective, this level of planning helps ensure the day runs smoothly and allows couples to fully enjoy the experience.

Stylistically, Redleaf is incredibly versatile. While I have delivered a range of cake designs here over the years, the venue's European character pairs particularly beautifully with elegant, timeless and highly detailed designs. The architecture, gardens and interiors provide a stunning backdrop that elevates every element of the celebration.

Spicers Guesthouse

Modern two-tier wedding cake with white roses displayed at Spicers Guesthouse Hunter Valley reception.
Spicers Guesthouse remains one of the Hunter Valley's most consistently popular wedding venues, particularly for couples wanting the convenience of onsite accommodation for family and guests. Having accommodation, ceremony spaces and reception facilities all in one location makes the day feel seamless and allows guests to fully relax and enjoy the celebration.

The venue offers a range of options for both ceremonies and receptions, with beautiful outdoor spaces as well as undercover alternatives available if required. This flexibility makes it a practical choice throughout the year and provides reassurance when planning around unpredictable weather.

The property itself is modern, well maintained and professionally operated. The team are experienced in hosting weddings and are consistently organised, helpful and easy to work with from a supplier perspective, which always makes delivery and setup straightforward.

One of the features that sets Spicers apart is the overall guest experience. Couples often make a weekend of their celebration, with family and friends gathering at the venue before and after the wedding. The onsite restaurant provides a lovely setting for welcome dinners, family catch-ups and relaxed meals throughout the wedding weekend.

From a cake design perspective, Spicers is one of the most versatile venues I deliver to. Over the years I have delivered everything from modern architectural cakes and minimalist designs through to larger statement pieces, and they have all felt equally at home in the space. The venue's clean, contemporary aesthetic allows couples to create a celebration that reflects their own style rather than being dictated by the venue itself.

Wedding Cake Delivery Considerations

Every venue manages wedding cakes a little differently. Some offer dedicated refrigeration and setup areas, while others have more limited storage options. Delivery timing is usually coordinated directly with venue staff to ensure cakes remain in the best possible condition, particularly during warmer months.
